In summer 2012, Virginia View and its partners will be offering several 2-day workshops created just for educators who wish to incorporate geospatial technology into their classrooms - and beyond. Participants who attend these workshops will learn more about GPS, GIS, and Remote Sensing with hands-on experience and leave with classroom activities and ideas they can implement right away!

• Those encouraged to attend include:
• Pre-college (middle school/high school) teachers
• 4-H leaders
• Scout leaders
• Other informal educators
• Higher education faculty (community college/ 4-year college or university)
