The first webinar covers some of the rules and regulations associated with using sprayer drones. The second webinar covers some of the more practical applications of sprayer drones. This webinar series introduces concepts and potential approaches.
Webinar #1: Sprayer Drones – Federal Regulations
This will cover the federal regulations required to operate a drone for carrying and applying agricultural chemicals. This will include a brief overview of Part 107 and which certificates an operator will need; as well as covering Part 137 and the Section 44807 process. It is important to note that this will not cover state or local regulations that may also apply.
Webinar #2: Sprayer Drones – Why and How
This presentation will cover the different types of drones, their uses, application methods, and new challenges presented to an agricultural spray drone operator. This will include area application and spot application, with discussion opportunities.
